Water Tank

Under the rear berth there is a large panel with approx 25 screws holding it in place. I presume that this is the "Lid" to the water tank. I have been thinking about removing this for an inspection.Has anyone done this and how difficult is it?It is obviously not just removing the screws but also breaking the seal.

Cut in an Inspection port instead

Andrew. Instead of removing all the screws and then having to worry about resealing the whole thing why not cut in an inspection port. They come in white and clear plastic w/ screw in lids anywhere fm 4.5 to 7 inches in diameter. Since my water tank is baffeled ('83 30') we have an inspection port over each open area. If you are going to HSA#1's Annual meeting dinner at Herrington Harbor South this Sat 30 Oct, I'll explain what you need to do to cut a hole into the tank.
