2007 Hunter 31 with Wema potable water gage in inop. This is the "old style" round gauge for water only. Need to access the water tank sending unit. The water tank is under the V berth. So I do not have to tear out the A/C close out wood work each time I try to remove the forward berth floor I want to cut an inspection hole to install an access plate above the sending gauge. This will also make flush and clean out much easier for winter. Has anyone cut a water tank access panel on a H-31? Where to cut is the key - center/off center- where is the sending unit located on top of the poly tank? Would like to drill only once. Marlow After Sales could not give me much guidance on this.
