Water Tank - Removal

Quick question, I have a 1975 25. Question relates to the water tank, which is located behind the amidships bulkhead. There appears to be a strip on fiberglass holding it in. I'd like to remove and replace it....anyone gone through this drill? Any suggestions for removal/replacement would be appreciated.

I'm planning the same removal this year so it'll be easier to clean it out. I've got a couple thoughts a bout how to reattach once I put it back in. I figure I can cut out the fiberglass strap and use the wood base to screw down some type of bracket and either use web strap or bungee to hold it in. I'm also planning to do this to the bulkhead wall using some type of trim screws to hold the brackets.

I took mine out last week. Just pulled the glass apart with a pair of vise grips. A bit hack but it was better than using a cutoff wheel and creating all the associated dust. I'm looking into getting a replacement Todd tank right now (I may be able to get a wholesale deal). If it's too expensive (list price at WM is $145) I'm just going to clean out the one I have and replace all the lines running to the sink. I'll let you know how I make out.
