I recently bought a 25.5 its an '86. A couple of questions: 1. Where is the water tank? I believe (know) it leaks and want to fix it/replace it. 2. Where can I buy battens for the main sail, 2 are missing, one is broken. I know I can probably get them made, so does anyone know the dimensions for them? The main sail seems like the original. Its the 4'6" keel if that matters. If you definately know the answers to the above, feel free to email me, I don't check this site often. But probably will. Thanks for the help. Tank & Battens

Mel, The water tank is in the starboard cockpit locker. It is covered by a screwed on fiberglass panel. The battens can be obtained from West Marine. You need to measure the length of the batten pockets on your sail and the width of the batten you have remaining. You can order batten stock and cut to length. HTH Dick Vance H-25.5 "Honey Bear"

Why the watertank?

Mel: If you're new to this boat, make sure you are diagnosing the leak source correctly. For example, the ice box drains directly to the bilge. It could be the "leak" is the result of melted ice and, therefore, normal. If you already knew this, please disregard. Good luck, its a great boat. Scott
