Connected? Connected in what way? Electrically or a water connection. If you mean electrically and the pump is already there then it should be wired up already. There is a circuit breaker/switch on the master control panel for the pump. If you mean the water pipe connection then it runs under the stbd settee to the polypropelene tank under the same settee. If the tank is full and you have the pump switch on then the pump will start to draw water on it's own from the tank. If the pump runs and runs without getting water from the tap then you may need to prime it by opening the faucet and literally sucking on the faucet to start the water flowing. Personally I prime it at the shower hose by taking off the shower head and turning the shower faucet on then starting the pump. Much easier on the old neck. Good luck, Mike
