All right, engine wizards! I have a 1983 Catalina 27 with a Universail diesel, 11 h.p. engine. How Do I get the correct water pump? Not in the original literature. any ideas?

Every water pump I have ever seen has its name on the pump. I'd at least take the old one off and go to parts place and ask them to replicate it. Cheers, Paul

www.marinedieseldirect.com has Unviersal parts catalogs for all the engines If you need a new pump, you have to take the old one off anyway, so do it and bring it in. They're usually Oberdorfers or Sherwoods. Stu
