Water Pump

I need to replace the water handpump on the galley. The rebuild kit isn't made any more and I can't find one that is less than 4.5 inches high that will clear the bulkhead to slide the galley under the stbd seat. It's a 1983 model. Any ideas or suggestions?

hello gary, catalina changed the dimentions of the gally to facilitate the use of a pump that could be rebuilt.try the " rv " winabago suppliers. you will probably have to buy a different type pump. let us know the outcome, i am looking at the same problem.john

Dismantle?

If you havn't done so, you might try to dismantle yor old one and clean it. Mine simply had a stuck open ball valve and works fine after a fairly simple cleaning a coule of years ago.. Good Luck!
