Used a rebuild kit once. It still leaked. To find a price I would have to start Googling.

Pump

Hi Alan, which water pump? Our 1989 2GM used a pump to bring raw water into and through the heat exchanger to cool the encapsulated system. A separate pump is used to circulate coolant within the encapsulated system. I used a kit to rebuild the former raw water pump that was leaking, which included a synthetic impeller, seals and seal lubricant at a much lower cost than a new pump. This kit was available from our local Yanmar service depot. Our pump did not leak after I did the repair.

They are easy to work with and fix all pumps. I used them a few years ago. Then I messed up the installation by tightening the drive belt too much. They backed me up and did a rebuild for no cost. Amazing.

search for posting by Maine Sail. he has instruction on how to rebuilt your water pump. I did mine for my 2gm20f. bought all parts (bearings and oil seal, o-ring...) from bearing supply company. very very much cheaper than yanmar dealer. you'll need some basic tool light bench-vice, socket spanners hammer, pieces of wood etc... easy. mine no longer leak after rebuilt.
