I recently purchased a 1982 33 which during the survey showed no fresh=water pressure.We found a brand-new pump in one of the drawers, however we could not find where the original pump was located. There was an apparent splice in the water line in the starboard seat storage cabinet in the salon, but I did not see any electrical connections...Can anyone tell me where the factory installed location of this pump is located. Mine is in the starboard underseat storage
On my 1980 33, the pump is located in the aft section of the forward starboard underseat storage locker..if that makes sense to you. the power supply seems to come from a wire led to that locker down the starboard side of the boat, inside the lockers and cabinetry.

My '81 33 came with the pump in the cabinet
under the sink in the head. Since I wasn't crazy about the cycling noise I relocated it to the starboard fender/sail locker in the cockpit. Since that's where the water heater was located it made sense. I just took the existing red and black leads and re-routed them back into that locker. What I liked about that location is there was also plenty of room to mount an accumulator tank plumbed to the pump. Since I'm always into that locker stowing or retrieving fenders, docklines, etc., I always have an opportunity to look at the filter screen and make sure water's circulating through it.
