I've got a 1977 C-30 and, everytime I fill the ice box near the top with ice, the floor in the galley (it's carpeted) gets soaking wet. It may not be related to the ice box, but it's happened 3 times, and all 3 times the ice box was filled to the brim with ice & food. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas? Or?

My '77 Cat 30 (#705) doesn't have carpeting (saves maintenance headaches), but I notice that the area in the corner by the galley sink and under the stove is "rounded" and collects water of any kind until you clear it out. Regardless of whether the water is a leaky port, from the sink or the ice box, water is collecting there. Can't say that I've ever notice any leakage from the icebox, though. You might want to check the icebox drain hose.
