Water on the cabin sole-some other ideas.
Check a couple of places where there may be hoses that are leaking. First, try the seacock for the raw water cooling system and see if it may have a small leak. That small bilge is partitioned off from the engine bilge and could retain some water if a hose leaks. Under the right conditions, it could dampen the sole. Also, check the bilge hoses which run under the starboard settee and the storage area under the galley stove. A leak there could pump out enough water to spill out and dampen the sole. Also, this is an outside shot, but take a look at the fastenings for the lower gudgeon. Two years ago while heading north through the Detroit River, I found water running out onto the cabin sole which had found its way from a loose lower gudgeon fitting, through the quarter berth sole and down onto the main cabin sole. I had to saw the bulkhead away which divides the quarter berth from the lazarette to get at the bolts to tighten them. Good luckTom
