Water line

Has anyone redone their water-line on the Cherubini boats? Unfortunately, the gelcoat waterline that Hunter put in does not match anything near where the boat sits once she is in the water. Any ideas or suggestions on how to remark the water-line to make it look better?Sandy Mace

How she sits in the water

Sandy: my 1977 25 footer shows about 2 inches of bottom paint below the watermark. I have repainted the black watermark at least twice with basic topside black gloss - I always get fouling one side due to a weight imbalance. Regards Peter

dont know what boat you have,

Too high or too low?

I don't think you told us how it sits. The usual case is that the boat sits too low, the water is on or over the waterline. But maybe you have the opposite problem?Like Ed A. mine sits perfectly with water and diesel tanks about 3/4 full. Plus lots of junk. About all that you can do is 1) add/remove weight and/or, 2) repaint the bootstripe.
