Water leaking from cockpit shower mixer

Apparently no one takes winterizing too seriously in the Pacific Northwest however my 373 seems to have sprung a water leak in the cockpit shower mixer during a recent cold snap. Just wondering if anyone has had ever repaired this specialized tap - I can turn it off just enough to stop the freshwater pump from cycling but it leaks when using the hose and likely won't hold pressure in the lines for much longer. It would be nice if simply tightening the joint on the mixer or a washer replacement would suffice?? Does the handle on the mixer move in and out ? - seems there is a gap between the base of the mixer and the handle that twists for hot and cold and moves up and down for on/off?

Of course I expect I will have to replace it but perhaps an easier fix?

We encountered the same problem on our First 36.7 here in Texas. An immediate solution which might not be applicable to your boat is that there is a dedicated ball valve for the cockpit shower on the fresh water distribution manifold, which we now open only when we use the cockpit shower. The fix was to order parts from Beneteau that included the hose and shower head.

That seems like a logical solution however I don't see that on mine - there doesn't seem to be anyway to stop the water flowing to the cockpit shower. My distribution manifold only controls the flow from the bow and aft water tanks...

We have an input manifold to the pump for port and starboard tanks and an output manifold from the pump that has four ball-valves -- three across the bottom and one on the end. The ball-valve on the end -- straight to the left -- goes to the cockpit shower.

In the picture below, the input manifold from the tanks is on the upper left and the output manifold is below the pump.
