Obvious points of water entry...

I'm assuming you have checked the obvious; boards that are beveled correctly, the top board overhangs the bottom one, and the slider is pulled over the top board completely covering the gap there?

probable water entry

There is a teak stopper that runs the length of the slider hatch that keeps it from coming out when pulling on it. If the teak is not full sealed from one end of the board to the other which by the way also means from the edge of the slider to the other edge, then water will come underneath and drip down into the cabin. Simply remove the slider hatch and apply silicon to the bottom side of the stopper crayz or shouLd I say old fart blossom Crazy Dave

Cover it

I had the same problem. My solution was to cover the whole pop-top/companionway. Two meters of material and a few snaps fasteners did the trick. Note that Hunter also offers a similar product. Leif

We had a water leak coming in from the area that Dave was talking about. We sealed the exact way that Dave recommended plus put a snap down companionway cover over that plus a tarp tented from the boom. That particular leak has been resolved. Paul H S/V Linda Belle 95 H26

Seal the screw holes

Pop out the teak pull grips on the plexiglass hatch and apply silicone seal to the screw holes. If you keep your boat in the water, you might also consider stowing gear on the starboard side so that, with the weight of the motor, you'll have a slight heel that will ensure water runs off and doesn't puddle on the hatch.

We'll see if it works

Just came across this thread. I had been wondering where the water in the cabin was coming from when all of a sudden it started to rain yesterday morning. All of a sudden I felt it dripping on my neck as I worked on the radio. Same problem that others have described, water seeping in under the plexiglass hatch. The three screws that hold the teak runner were a little loose, but tightening them didn't solve the leak. I ran out to the boat after work today and laid down a bead of silicone along the length of the runner, extra at the screw holes, and screwed it on real tight. I'll let you know how it turns out after the next rain.
