water leak

My 1996 Catalina 270 has developed a water leak. It is definitely salt water. yet to find source but suspect either keel or depth sounder thru-hull as ingress is along port side of cabin flooring. Any suggestions/hints ?

How did you find out where?

Could it simply be your stuffing box? Do you have an inboard engine?

Definitely coming from forward of the bilge cover as have checked the area under the diesel motor which has been thoroughly checked and serviced 2 weeks ago. Am wondering whether it might be from the thru hull depth sounder fitting
