I just bought this beautifull boat, upon visual inspection I noticed some water right on top of the keel. is this water product of osmosis or what? How can I eliminate this? answers can be directed to Sailingsoon@email.com

Salt or fresh?

First check and see if it is salt or fresh. Salt would indicate a leak in hull or around keel bolts. If fresh it could come from rain or watersupply. Many times the leak if from the keel bolts can be stopped by tightning. Once you identify the leak it should not be to hard to fix. Good Luck.

condensation

I had a 23 for many years and the only water I had in the bilge was during the fridged winters down here in SW fla. The air temp was cooler than the water and the result was fresh water in my bilge. I did also have a five gallon water tank leak slowly once but again, check to see if the water is salt or fresh.

Did you have it surveyed?

I'm guessing that you didn't otherwise the surveyor would have found that (hopefully). There is a lot of missing information here. Was the bilge dry BEFORE you bought her & now there's water? Did you not look in the bilge to see before purchasing? Is she in the water now or on a trailer? Is it salt or fresh water? Has it rained there lately? Are any of your seacocks open? Is there a possible leak in a water tank? How much water are we talking about anyway? These are just some questions to narrow down the possibilities. LaDonna
