Water in Lazerette

I have read several posts in the archives about Hunter 335's with water collecting in the Starboard Lazerette down by the exhaust muffler. It appears that the water is coming from the transom locker on the starboard side when I wash down. I'm not too concerned about the little amount of water that collects there, but I would like to know someone's opinion about locating a weep hole in the bulkhead where the water lays so the Lazerette compartment remains dry. There seems to be several catch areas in my boat that need weep holes to allow spilled water to drain to the bilge. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Cap'n Brent S/V Elena Lua 1991 Hunter 335

Water Leak Fix

Cap'n I know that problem. I stopped the water from entering the transom lazarette totally on my 35.5 by investing $5 in some 1/2" wide, pressure sensitive "hatch cover tape." I put it around the lip of the open lazarette. End of problem . . Fred Miller s/v M Squared
