water in cylinder

Hi all,
this is a special question to those who use to trailer their Vega!
I think I have a problem with seawater coming back from the exhaust
system into the cylinders when trailering my Vega. I always drain the
exhaust pipe before trailering.
This week I wanted to winterise the MD 7A but .. it was stuck!! No
chance to turn it!! I hope to get it free again by taking out the
fuel injectors and drizzle anti corrosion spray into the cylinders.
If that does not help I will try to warm up the engine block.
I suspect the reason is rust due to seawater that came back through
the exhaust pipe when trailering.
My question: has anybody of the trailer community encountered similar
problems? Any suggestions or design ideas that will make trailering
safe (for the engine, I mean!)?
I`m quite stumped at the moment! Anybody out there to help??

Have you tried lifting the compression lever and then turning it over with your hand crank??

Hi Lueder

I have towed quite a few Vegas and I have never had that problem. Mabye
the front of my trailer is slightly higher?
