Usually means rainwater is coming in thru a deck or cabinside opening and running through some wood core and finding its way into the bilge. Windows are prime suspects... the water doesn't come into the cabin so that you can see but rather gets between the outside shell and inside liner .. Any part on the deck that has a hole into the shell could be doing that.. Mast step, winch mounts, handrails, deck tracks.. Sometimes you can find the trail where this ran into the bilge and that trail will help ya locate the real source. Happy Hunting !

Brown water stains would tell me that you "probably" have a leak at some deck penetration. The plywood in the deck/cabin area is probably accumulating moisture and it is finding it way into the bilge. It can be almost anywhere. If the boat is not level (and they seldom are) it could be coming in at the bow and making its way to the stern.

You probably don't want to rebed everything so you will need to do some tracing the best you can.

Good luck.

Likely water that had become trapped in the stringers below the cabin sole and slowly found its way into the bilge.

It could be as simple as condensation collecting on the inside of the hull and other surfaces. How much water are you seeing?

Had somewhat similar problem with my 2003 H356. Brown stains in aft cabin and a bit of water in sump - could not tell if sump water was from aft cabin leak. Problem was stainless steel rub rail molding at hull/deck joint. Not all screws were properly bedded. I removed all screws outside of aft cabin area, injected some bedding compound and replaced screws. Problem solved.
