Water in bilge while heeling in port tack

Looking for any info regarding excessive water in bilge while heeling in port tack on 1999 Beneteau Oceanis 461

Also check the anchor locker drain. Different model Beneteau but we had a void between the hull and the anchor locker liner around the drain. Water was able to get through that void inside the hull.

Might check to see if the water is freshwater or saltwater. In addition, some other possible causes:

1. Excessive packing gland dripping.
2. Shower sump pump box overflow when pump is not on or fails to work.
3. Water entry from mast: Mast step water leak problem - Keel step
4. Water entrance from toe-rail that needs rebedding
5. Leaking water tank and I sure hope not.

Check vents in freshwater tank....on port tack it would indicate the culprit leak would be on starboard (downhill) side of tank. One question, how are you able to determine that the leaking is limited to port tack.
