I am finding more water in my bilge lately after fixing known leaks from deck hardware, windows, etc. I suspect that this water is coming from below the waterline. I know it is not my thru hull since it was just replace and there is no evidence of leakage there. Could the water is coming from somewhere around the swing keel or keel area, especially when under sail ? What are the likely leak points there ? Before a sail, I will pump out the bilge, sail and then find some more water in bilge upon return. It seems like when I leave the boat at the dock with a pumped out bilge there is no additional water in the bilge the next time I use the boat. Thanks Jim

keel bolts

Could be the keel bolts. I replaced 2 of mine and had much less water on the next sail. The sealant around mine was pretty bad and one of the bolts was deteriorating. When under sail, lateral pressure is exerted on the keel and that can cause a joint to leak when it normally doesn't.
