My 240 was strust by lightening, blew out masthead and bow lights, fried the fuses and one fuse holder, and made it's way out the bottom stern behind the aft berth.Had the boat hauled, all repaired and away I go.Well, not so fast! It seems I'm getting water in from the ballast, about 5 gallons a day.Stuck the tank and the next day, showed a drop in the water level. My question is , is it repairable as I cannot see where it comes from and am wondering if anyone has experenced this problem.

mine too!

I can sympathize with your situation. Our 240 was also struck by lightning in 2000. It was less than a year old. Our insurance totaled ours, so we were able to buy a new one. I guess you weren't so lucky. (strange to talk about luck in such a situation) Try putting some food coloring in the ballast tank. That will tell you if the water is leaking out of the tank.
