water tank sending unit
Allen, I have changed the sending unit in my 336 (should be the same as yours) It is a easy job and straight forward. The problem is (I am assuming you have the Wema gauges)that the sending unit is a poor design and will most likely fail (break in two)very soon after you replace it. At over $50 dollar for the sending unit it can get expensive to keep replacing. To be honest I gave up and just fill when I start to run out.The alternative and maybe better answer is to replace the whole gauge system with the Snake River gauges. At any rate the sending unit is on the top of the tank and can be accesed under the v berth panel. Disconect wires and 5 screws to remove and replace. Be sure to make a gasket or use some sealer so that it does not leak. All in all less then one hour total work involved. Good Luck !
