In preparing for put-in, I noticed that there is water coming from the aft sole into the bilge where the keel is bolted to the hull. There is obviously a channel for the water to flow from the aft to this bilge, but there is not bilge pump in this bilge, by design. I was suprised at the water flowing from the aft, since the boat is out of the water. Does anyone know where the water is coming from? My guess is that there must be a compartment aft of the engine in which water may be collecting from leaks in the aft section of the boat. I took about 20 or 30 gallons out of this area before the water stopped coming from the aft. Anyone know the design of the sole in the aft behind the engine? Note that the channel in which the water was coming goes UNDER the engine collection pan.Regards,Eric SteegePerfect Union, 1984 Hunter 31Bayport, MN
