This last weekend I painted the interior fiberglass in the main salon of my boat. When I removed the right (port) bracket for the ladder going from the cockpit into the cabin a small quantity of water (about 4 onces) came out of the two bottom screw holes. I have no idea from where the water came or how to find it. I though of drilling a small weep hole in the bottom of the fiberglass piece that holds the bracket, but that doesn't solve the problem of where is the water coming from. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
