Hi, I wonder if it is possible to install water closet in my H26 without any special made septictank/watertank. Is there somebody who had done this and have a good mounting instructions with partlist and tankdimensions and perhaps some photoes? Please send this too: tom.haaland@kvamnet.no Best regards Tom

You're asking about installing a self-contained
system? The most common ones are portapotties, which are available from any marine catalog for a very reasonable price--far less than you could make anything. The toilet and tank are together and require no plumbing. The tanks can be carried off the boat to be emptied, or can be permanently installed and fitted for pumpout and/or dumping at sea. The most popular ones are made by Thetford and SeaLand. Why?
A marine toilet will need maintenance...you'll have to install a through-hull and seacock for flush water pickup...another thru-hull and seacock if you want to be able to dump the tank at sea...the tank will occupy a considerable amount of already limited storage space. A permanently installed self-contained 5-6 gallon system that's fitted for pumpout uses so little flush water that you'd need at least an 18-20 gallon holding tank to hold as many flushes from a marine toilet. All the advantages of a marine toilet and tank without any of the problems...and you can still dump the tank at sea by installing only one through-hull/seacock and by putting a y-valve and macerator in the pumpout line. But, if you're determined... If you were in the US, I could provide you with all kinds of recommendations and sources for toilets and tanks...but I only know of UK sources, none in Europe or Scandanavia. So I suggest that you look at as many other boats about the same size as yours that have marine toilets and tanks as you can to see where the tank has to go and how to plumb it...and also which toilets are on the boats and sources for tanks. Your boat dealer may be another good source of information.
