water bladder leak

My water bladder has a leak located along the bottom seam. I believe the water bladder is original to the boat (1982). I am about to take it to an inflatable boat shop for repair but figured perhaps I could do it myself. Can anyone offer advice in this area? Is it hard to properly fix this on one's own? Thanks.

Having had the same problem with flexible tanks on our First 42, let me save you some time and frustration. Check out the flexible tanks listed unde "Sales Programme" at the Vetus Website at http://www.vetus.com/. You can order the appropriate tank through West Marine (costly) or Hamilton Marine (better).
