Bilge & Water pump

The bilge on the h25.5 is small - only about 6" deep and located under a panel in the center of the cabin sole. My 25.5 has manual water at the sinks but the only place I could think of to put an elect pump is near the fresh water holding tank outlet. It is in the rear berth - under the mattress - under a wooden panel nearest the starboard side. Good luck. --Stan

No Pump

Brad, The 25.5 has no bilge pump, at least in the outboard models. I added a pump with built-in automatic float switch which discharges through a hose led to the stern. I located the pump underneath the square lift up section of the cabin sole, next to the dinette. This is the lowest point of the bilge. You will have to drill a few holes to run the discharge hose. I ran mine under the floor; under the sink and through the stern cockpit locker out a through-hull in the stern, located above the cockpit floor level. Be sure of the height of the pump you choose so that it will fit under the cabin sole. Dick Vance H-25.5 "Honey Bear"
