We moor on the Columbia River for the season, and our water ballast tank tends to get fairly ripe after a short time (sulfur-like smell). Is there anything you might recommend to control it? The tank is not vented while in use. I've heard of periodic bleach treatments, but wondered if something such as Odorlos might be better - or is there a risk of creating other issues in a non-vented environment. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Peggie.

Bleach

I add a gallon of household bleach to the ballast tank of my 23.5 every spring at first launch. I've done this for 10 years, with never a problem and no appreciable odor.
