I'm searching for any owners who race their H26. I score our local regatta and have a new member that has recently joined and is racing with us. We use the portsmouth yardstick and the handicap for this boat seems to be a bit high for what I'm seeing on the water compared to other boats in our club. I'm asking that any owner who club races this boat please reply to this post with the handicap that is usually given to them, portsmouth or PHRF. PHRF for H26

I don't race, but I thought the PHRF on a H26 is about 230.

230 sounds about right. My old 25 is rated 225. 261 is way too high. At 261 its rated slower than a Catalina 22.

Raced twice

I have a WB/26 with ferling head, sail, and I have been to the hundred mile race on Grand Lake two times. The first year my pfrh was 210 and the second year it was 220. The sails you have on board makes a difference and so does the use of a whisker pool. I have a 150 genoua and a 155 light air sail. this was all taken into account.
