2 issues I'm interested in1.) is there a way to 'treat' the interior of the ballast tank to prevent water/fiberglass problems, later on down the road, 2.) the starboard deck above the galley sags due to 'design flaw' where Hunter compromised the rigid strength of the companion way poptop frame by cutting in 'drain' grooves...so the hatch is hard to slide open/closed. I've installed vertical brace support underneath the deck using a 1" stainless steel 'railing' attached with stanchion bases on the galley sink up to another attached under the deck coach...but I don't know if the load transfer from deck to galley/sink base (and thus sink base to water ballast tank and sole) is too great. So far it worked for a while, settling a little bit...i need a 1/4" spacer to get the fit right to remove the deck sagging.Anyone have this problem?emails to tom_harty@freddiemac.com or THarty9050@aol.com welcomed and appreciated.PS...9.9 Honda 4 stroke, about 116 lbs....is this too much weight for the motor mount on the transom?
