on the port side. Not a lot, but enough to rot out my mattresses. I checked the archives, but unfortunately there was no specific advice as to what to do... mostly just to seal all the deck hardware topsides, especially the stern rail mounts. Anybody had this problem? Thanks, Scott S/V Hello Dolly

Check the closet

I had a simular problem on my 97 H26. I think you have the same closet on the port side of the head. I have had water come in from the window and it made it's way into the bottom of the closet and soaked my bedding. Tha't about the only way you can get sater in there that I know of, unless something is leaking thru the wheel housing.

Hello Scott

Was she in the water when this happened or on the trailer? Also is it tiller or wheel steering?

Thanks-

Hello Dolly stays in her slip, and I have wheel steering...but I do have the closet, and it could be coming from the window! I'll be sure screw it down tight-also, I plan to seal everything in sight above. Hopefully this will work. By the way, I like the aft cabin better without mattresses-I only use it for storage anyway.

Salty or fresh

Do the taste test. The water may just be coming in thru the hull/deck join.
