I AM A NEW OWNER OF A 2002 CATALINA 250 WING. HOW DO YOU KNOW WENT THE WASTE TANK IS FULL, THE WASTE TANK IS BLACK PLASTIC AND YOU CAN'T SEE HOW FULL IT IS AND THERE IS NO GAUGES. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR RULES OF THUMB I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT. THANKS JEFF

Full waste tank
Use a strong flashlight and rest the beam on the top of the tank. You should see the waste level as a darker line on the side of the tank. Consider installing a remote sensor to give you a longer warning.

Agree that you will always know when it's full - having over-filled mine (C30) twice - and that's NOT helpful. The indicators that tell you it's full are a 'waste' - so to speak. The gauges that tell you the level as it fills are expensive, but I'm close to investing anyway - with the readout display mounted in the head.......... In a boat with limited 'resource space', there's no such thing as too little info.
