Hi Peggy,I'm in the process of redesigning and rebuilding my whole waste system. I'd like to put a powered pump in the works for pump out on the open waters. About a year (maybe two) ago I saw a pump on the market that looked very much like a "whaler" with a 12 volt motor built into it. I think it was Jabsco. What I found appealing about it was the fact that it wasn't a macerator, so there might be less of a chance of it clogging up. It also brags of having 1-1/2" inlet and outlet and is a straight through diaphram pump. I thought this would be just the thing for my system. But, the latest West Marine catalog and I think the Defender catalogue no longer list it. When I do a "Google" search I find places that do sell it. Do you know much about this? Why would big boys like West and Defender stop carrying it? Were there problems with it?ThanksErnie
