Waste Pump question

Hi Peggy, I'm in the process of redesigning and rebuilding my whole waste system. I'd like to put a powered pump in the works for pump out on the open waters. About a year (maybe two) ago I saw a pump on the market that looked very much like a "whaler" with a 12 volt motor built into it. I think it was Jabsco. What I found appealing about it was the fact that it wasn't a macerator, so there might be less of a chance of it clogging up. It also brags of having 1-1/2" inlet and outlet and is a straight through diaphram pump. I thought this would be just the thing for my system. But, the latest West Marine catalog and I think the Defender catalogue no longer list it. When I do a "Google" search I find places that do sell it. Do you know much about this? Why would big boys like West and Defender stop carrying it? Were there problems with it? Thanks Ernie

It's a SeaLand T-Pump

Which they now call a "Sanipump." Here's the link to it on the Defender site: http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|51|299222|315197&id=105241
