waste cap adaptor on Hunter 34

Does anyone know if there is a special adaptor to fit the waste deck cap on the Hunter 34? The deck fill adaptors at the pump out stations in my area do not fit into my deck for suctioning out the holding tank. Thanks. Greg

I think, I think....

Greg:Don't know what type of fitting your pump out station has. I think that your deck fitting is probably 1.25" and the pump out station may be 1.5". If theirs a screw in adapter that clamps on to the hose, there are some other adaptors available. There are some universal ones that are rubber too, so you may need to look around.

SeaLand has 'em...

They're under $10. But first you need to know whether your deck fitting is 1.5" ID (inner diameter) threaded, or 1.25"...then you need to count the threads per inch--that will be either 11 or 16 (11 is most common on newer boats, 16 on older boats--and btw, if yours happens to be 16, hang onto the cap! It's impossible to find a replacement for it any more). Then call SeaLand at 800-321-9886 and tell 'em what you have. In the unlikely event your deck fitting doesn't match ANY of the above, they do offer a neoprene "universal" nozzle...it doesn't thread in...you have to jam it in tight and then stand there and hold it while you pumpout.

West Marine has the adapters

West Marine has the pumpout adapter made by SeaLand. You still have to know the diameter and threads/inch but this looks like it is what you need. Price is $10.99.Bruce
