Wash Down Pump Installation

I have a Mk 1 30 Catalina and the usual small-ish anchor well. I have it pretty filled with deck-mounted Pro 1000 Windlass and 200 ft of rope and 100 feet of chain. I have very little space left but think I can put in a deck wash down system with a little work.
Am thinking of installing the pump under the vee berth, then the outlet hose up thru the small cubby cabin at the head of the vee berth, sufficiently sealed from water intrusion of course, then up into the base of the anchor well, running the outlet from the pump thru the anchor well via a hard tube, pvc lets say, to protect the outlet hose from chain damage, then to a deck fitting that I can screw the hose to.
Anyone out there have a similar installation they can verify mine to?

That should work. We installed the hose connector in the deck itself so that it was accessible with the anchor locker closed, and added an on/off switch for the pump inside the locker. Now it is easy to rinse the rode as it comes aboard, as well as rinse down the deck, the dog, etc.

I like the idea of going through the deck. I am not sure I would want to go through the locker. Have you considered other locations?

Thought of a few dozen locations before settling on the anchor well, mostly because it's already wet so any drippage will go there. Have completed entire installation, all went well, used a thru hull to go up into the anchor well from below and ran the hose thru it then filled the minimal gap with lots of Sikiflex. Covered the exposed hose with a trimmed piece of 1/4" Starboard and epoxied it in place with Flex 2 part, the only stuff that sticks to Starboard. Works like a charm. Ran hydro off an unused switch at the panel, the pump is on-demand so it only runs when the nozzle is depressed. At same time I marked rode and chain every 25 feet with florescent paint (which I wished I'd done originally) and decided to switch up my 33 lb Bruce anchor with a 25 lb Manson Supreme. I've dragged twice with the Bruce, in sand and once in weeds and really don't like that so on with the new hook.
Next project, new counter tops in the galley! Thanks for the input.

Would love to see the results. Post pics if you have them. Glad it all worked out though.
