Have any of you sailed from the Washington DC area to Colonial Beach? if so, how long should i expect to get there? and any advice would be great. Thanks!
Two to three days? Geez, it's just down the Potomac beyond the Nice Bridge. I should think a six-hour cruise if the wind is favorable. One of us needs to check with AAA.
Steve, Using MapSource and staying about mid channel it is 69.2 nm from the 395 Bridge (14th Street) to off Colonel Beach. It is 49.3 nm from the Hwy 1 Bridge over the Occoquan River (Creek) to off Colonal Beach. Have Fun, Les Andersen s/v Mutual Fun
