Wanted- used pedestal guard for Hunter 31'

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a used, but still in good shape, pedestal guard for my Hunter 31'? If possible I would like the compass mount and feet also. Looking at Edson and Navpod but are quite expensive. Checked some salvage places as well, and they don't seem to have any in stock. Was thinking of going to a machine shop and getting someone to bend a SS 1" pipe, but none in my area seem to be interested in doing this. Looking for a less expensive solution to installing a cockpit table. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Hi, Holland Marine in Toronto Ontario makes them and in fact, I have an extra one. I don't have the feet and the bracket but those are available from Holland Marine. There was a bit of mix up on my part and I ended up buying two (one was an Edson, which was installed). The one from Holland Marine cost me around $300 Canadian. I could send you some pictures and dimensions if you liked. It's never been used.

Hi, I see you are at RKYC. We are actually in Fredericton, and have our mooring in St. Andrews. Where are located? Are you asking $300 for your pedestal guard. I am looking for a straight guard with no bends. I would not be attaching any instruments but trying to fit a bracket for a cockpit table.
