I am looking for a Hunter Legend 45, 85 thru 88. I am also interested in comments. How would you compare the value of a Hunter 45 to a Catalina 42. Handleing, speed v rating, compfort, construction, price and any other information. Also do you know of one for sale. Ken at kcrefrig@aol.com 310 306 2348

Hunter 45

My wife and I met a really nice guy last year on June 29th in Avalon Catalina Island that had a 1985 Hunter 45. It was beautiful!!!! He loved it. His name is Paul Crow and the boats name is "The Crows Nest". He keeps it in San Diego. I have his phone number on my boat but is 2 hours away. I will try and get it for you. It was our first time on a Hunter 45 and wow was it layed out nice below. Good luck, Matt McCoy "Zoloft" Hunter 30

Failed email

Ken: I tried replying (kcrefrig@aol.com) to your email question re any H45's for sale and the e-mail was rejected. Anyway, there are two 45's (84-89) for sale in the Seattle area. One (in Elliot Bay) listed for $140k has been on the mkt for over a year. I know of this boat and it's in good shape. I'm guessing not too many engine hrs. The other is in Friday Harbor for $129k. This boat was previously in charter so I don't know the condition. Check 48degrees North website. http://www.48north.com/. Email me at j.fletch@gte.net if I can help. J. Fletcher
