I have a 2002 Hunter 386 equipped with the standard two-blade prop. I think I'd like to go to a 3-blade fixed prop (folding props too expensive) because I'm assuming it will reduce vibration and provide more power. Does anyone know offhand what size and pitch I should be looking for -- and roughly what kind of money I should be prepared to spend?

I suggest that you get the prop specs from the mfg. If you decided upon a Campbell Sailor ($600) vs a Michigan prop ($400-500) the specs would not even be close.
Have you considered a Kiwi folder? (about $1400).
