Want to lay another layer of fiberglass

I'm looking come spring time to put a finish layer of glass inside the cabin/ dog house of my little luger sea breeze. anywhere I can find glass cheap? I guess I want to find something that's relatively easy to work with, but I can finish up nicely. I don't really have the money for a full on gel coat right now...but I'd love to finish what the previous owner started and finally make the upper part of the boat a little more sturdy.

I'll be a little more technical:

right now the cabin is painted (but I'll remove that) and is just the basic loose fiber (not mat) base for structural rigidity. without any finish layer. the outside has been finished with gelcoat. can I get away with overlapping mats of glass from port to starboard working aft inside? or do you suggest another method?

First a couple of photos so folks can see what you are talking about. When relying on the cheapest materials I hope you are saying where you can find quality materials at the lowest cost. Some folks will not respond if someone is going to use the lowest grade of materials, slap things together and so on. First a few photos as there are some questions as to what you have and want to do.
