I own a Hunter 25.5 with a deep keel, draft of 4'9". I have someone to build a trailer and was wondering if anyone out there has any knowledge on constructing one. I need to haul the boat out and clean and check the bottom for blisters. Also with the lake level here so low, Clarks Hill,Ga, I may have some damage on the bottom of the hull because the dock hung up and did not float. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

25.5 Trailer

I did research for about a year and collected a file about an inch thick before I had a trailer made for my 26.5. It has ten-bolt on screw jacks that can be removed for access to the bottom for blister repair, bottom painting, etc. The jacks can also lift the boat off the keel tray to work on the keel. The trailer frame is aluminum and the jacks are galvinized Brownell type. The trailer was also less expensive than any other I found (Triad, Performance Trailers, etc.)E-mail me at btarnick@att.net for more info.
