I'm finally getting my boat's feet wet, in theory, late May, early June. I'll be bringing it up to the L.I.Sound, and berthing it at City Is., New Rochelle, or Stamford, whichever one I can afford. I'm still very green (experience wise, not seasick), and this'll be my first time in this boat, so I'm looking for anyone interested in crewing with me. Hell, if you've got the experience, YOU can play captain. She's a "traditional" 37' yawl, which means no heat or running water, and a teeny weeny head, just big enough to pull your pants up in. I'm planning on puttering around the Chesapeake for a day or two to get a feel for her best sailing, and to make sure my Atomic 4 doesn't explode, and then head north, up the intercoastal as far as I can. I've looked at websites advertising delivery services, but not only are they expensive, I'm not sure they'll take the job without the onboard niceties. Anyone interested? Anyone?...
