I want to install a Wallas diesel heater on my 98 Hunter 380. I was wondering if any 380's or similar boats out there can tell me where they placed their Wallas and where they ran the ducting?

Some earlier articles that might help you out appear in the link below from a prior discussion on this board. Our boat is a P42 and the other boat model is an H41. Hope this helps. I'm not that familiar with the 380 layout to offer anything specific.

Thank you so much for the helpful info. I'm trying to decide where to put the heater and then, which route for the ducts. That three inch hole isn't so easy.

Wallas Furnace
You are welcome. I picked ours based on:
1. Transom locker had space on a bulkhead for mounting.
2. Location was within a few feet of the fuel tank.
3. Port side of the boat had access to lockers to create a duct route.
4. Transom locker location provided an outside hull access for the exhaust stack.
Study those factors and a location should come to mind.
I would recommend the 40D for your size boat.
