Hi, does anyone know how much of a battery bank is needed to reasonably power the Crosby/Waeco V-12 with 2 Crosby Holding plates? Also, with a five foot lift, we seem to have real trouble getting the March 1.1 Amp pump to deliver enought water to the condenser coil. The box is 13 cu/ft with it divided in half with a spillover divider for refrigeration-both holding plates are in the freezer section. Just bought the boat and this is being repaired by the seller. HELP!Thank you Rick Cass

Rick, The Crosby V-12 draws 40 amps running. Typical run time (depending on BTU rating of the plates) is 2 to 4 hours a day. The bigger the bank, the better. Crosby used 2 different March pumps. Older systems used the model 809HS, which was rated at 5.3 GPM. Newer systems were sold with the model 809BR which I have listed at 5.5 GPM. Check your pumps output at the pump itself. There may be some restriction(s) in the strainer or condenser.
