Hello, We recently installed this refrigerator and have been unable to determine how the accumulator works, or what actually determines what temperature the fridge decides to maintain. We have been having weeks of 90 degree weather and some days the fridge is in the 58-60 degree range, and others it will drop as low as 49 degrees. We monitor our batteries very carefully and they have remained charged throughout all the time period. The manual gives us no information. Does anyone have any experience with this model? Thanks, Deb s/v Electric Blue

The accumulator operates either manually or automatically when the battery voltage drops to 10.4 or 22.8 volts. Once the battery voltage is restored the compressor comes back on and recharges the accumulator and continues to operate as a normal cycling refrigerator. Adjust your thermostat to a colder setting to bring the box temperature down. Where did you purchase your unit? Phil
