Have a 2010 Hunter 31, the ice box unit stop working!
its a Waeco CB40
1 Q. Dose it just sit in side the cuppy hole,
2 Q. in idea of what might be wrong, or how to fix it
3 Q. is this normal time frame for these to last.

Ice boxes usually last forever but refrigerator units have a much shorter life. A 2010 unit is fairly new and should be working but if not can usually be repaired. The good news is that most likely it could be out of freon or have a bad relay but that the compressor and other costly components would still likely be in good shape. These units are 12V so make sure there is adequate voltage reaching the unit. I would recommend you call a refrigeration tecnician to diagnose any problems, charge the freon and give it a once over. These units regularly last 10 + yrs.
