Their coverage this year is outstanding. When they are out away from shore they load a 3 - 5 minute video everyday. The Southern Ocean leg was amazing to watch everyday. The U.S. team Puma took first place in the 5th stage and was the only boat that did not stop for repairs to finish in Ijatai Brazil. Team Camper won the fastest time in a 24 hour period. Over 520 miles in 24 hours.

It's been fascinating to keep up with the races. I use the iPhone viewer as well as the website. They are major athletes, and the boats are incredibly fast.

Living in a world where 6-7knots is fun, I can't imagine what 22-24knots must be like.. I'd pay money for a ride on one of those! Lash me to the mast!

Leg 6 to Miami starts at 4pm eastern time today Sunday April 22. They have a live feed, but I have to watch on the computer. My PS3 will not play the live feeds. I enjoy seeing those 70 foot boats on my 55 inch screen better than the computer, but I will take what I can get. Awesome stuff to watch.
