G'day, Has anyone any experience with the change out of a cambelt on a MD22L Volvo engine. Mine has clocked about 1550 hours and will be close to a change soon. It appears pretty easy to do once you have removed the cambelt cover, but how do you hold the camshaft to stop is rotating when the belt is removed. I guess simple bolts could be inserted in to the end of the camshaft to hold it?? There must be an easy way?? Any info would be appreciated. Graham.
