Voltage regulator replacement

Ahoy Atomic BombersI have the older model A4 (with a Prestolite 35 Amp alternator,)in a C&C Corvette 31. The external voltage regulator is toast. Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement for this unit? and a Canadian source for it? ErwinThornbury, ON

Take the old unit and the info on your alternator to the local auto electric shop. Find one that rebuilds alternators in house. They should be able to help you out.
